Bar Harbor
The Abbe Museum shares the history and culture of Maine's Native people, collectively known as the Wabanaki. The museum operates from two locations downtown Bar Harbor and trailside within Acadia National Park at Sieur de Monts Springs, admission includes both locations.

Ellsworth
Woodlawn Museum is so much more than a Museum it is also home to a public park, stunning gardens, and beautifully maintained walking trails. Visitors enjoy exploring the Black House, playing croquet, and walking through the many gardens and beautifully maintained walking trails.

Birdsacre bird sanctuary is open seven days a week year-round. The many gorgeous forested trails make you forget that you are in town, everyone of all ages enjoys being able to get up close to birds of prey, eating a picnic lunch at one of the outdoor picnic areas, and exploring the bog walk.

Fort Knox State Park is a must-see bit of history on the coast of Maine. There are passages to explore, cannons to take selfies with, dark tunnels to go through, and rooms to explore. They also host events such as living history days, ghost tours and live theatre.
